and what you own.

GreenLeadAI builds and operates custom AI receptionists for landscaping and outdoor construction companies. GreenLeadAI is a service of Steele Built General Construction Inc., a California company.

In this policy, "we," "us," and "GreenLeadAI" mean that company. "You" means whoever is reading — which, depending on how you got here, could be one of two very different people. That distinction matters enough that it gets its own section.

Most privacy policies cover one relationship. Ours covers two, and your rights are different in each. Find yourself below.

When you browse getgreenleadai.com

Our website uses analytics and advertising tools that collect standard technical information automatically:

• Google Analytics — pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, how you arrived, and how long you stayed.
• Meta Pixel — records that you visited the site so we can measure whether our advertising works and reach similar audiences. This involves sharing a record of your visit with Meta.
• Server logs — our host, Netlify, keeps standard access logs including IP addresses.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on Google provides, and you can adjust ad personalization in your Meta account settings. Browser-level Global Privacy Control signals are honored where we're able to detect them.

When you try our demo bot

Our demo bot is a working version of the real product, so anything you type into it is recorded the same way a real lead would be — including any name, phone number, email, or address you enter. Please don't enter real personal details you don't want us to have. We use demo conversations to understand what prospects ask and to improve the product.

When you contact us or become a client

• Contact details — name, business name, email, phone number.
• Business information — your services, pricing, service area, brand voice, and anything else you provide on the onboarding form so we can build your bot.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive confirmation of payment, the last four digits, and billing details.
• Credentials you choose to share — such as your Calendly link, or on Premium, your Anthropic API key.

When someone chats with a GreenLeadAI bot on one of our clients' websites, the bot may collect:

• Name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Property or project address
• Which service they're interested in, and details about their project
• Whether they consented to receive text messages
• The complete chat transcript — everything typed during the conversation

This information belongs to the landscaping company whose website the bot sits on. We process it on their instructions in order to deliver the service: notifying them of the lead, sending the customer a confirmation, and saving the record to their CRM.

We do not sell this information. We do not use it to market to anyone. We do not share it between clients. One landscaping company never sees another's leads.

We'd rather list all of them than say "trusted third parties." Here's the complete set, what each one does, and whose account it lives in.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on their systems. We share information with them only as needed to run the service.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or if the business is ever sold or merged — in which case we'd tell affected clients first.

• Client account and business information — for as long as you're a client, then as long as we need it for tax and accounting obligations.
• Lead records and chat transcripts — kept in the CRM while the client's subscription is active. On cancellation, clients get a full export and can ask us to delete the records from our systems.
• Payment records — retained by Stripe and by us as long as tax law requires.
• Demo bot conversations — kept while useful for improving the product, then deleted.
• Analytics data — per the standard retention windows in Google Analytics and Meta.

If you're a GreenLeadAI client

Your lead data is yours. Always, including after you cancel. You can ask us for a complete export at any time and we'll provide it. You can ask us to correct or delete information we hold about you or your business. No contracts, no hard feelings, no data held hostage — that isn't marketing copy, it's how we operate.

If you chatted with a bot on a landscaping company's site

Your rights run against that company, since it's their information and their decision. Contact them directly. If you can't identify or reach them, write to us and we'll help connect you.

If you're a California resident

California law gives you the right to know what personal information is collected about you and how it's used, to request deletion, to request correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of those rights.

We do not sell personal information. We should be straight with you about one thing, though: our use of the Meta Pixel on this website may qualify as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out by using a browser that sends Global Privacy Control signals, by adjusting your Meta ad settings, or by emailing us and asking.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@getgreenleadai.com. We'll verify your request and respond within the timeframe the law requires.

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections, and access controls appropriate to the size of our operation. Payment card data never touches our systems — Stripe handles it end to end.

That said, we're not going to promise you something nobody can promise. No method of transmitting or storing data over the internet is perfectly secure. We work to protect your information, but we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach ever affected your data, we'd notify you as the law requires and tell you plainly what happened.

GreenLeadAI is a business tool sold to companies and used by homeowners arranging property work. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we'll delete it.

We'll update this page when our practices change, and we'll move the "last updated" date at the top. If a change materially affects our clients, we'll email them rather than quietly editing the page and hoping nobody notices.
